Workshops
Château Barayre is a small scale accomodation for a professional training, team building or a (end of) week of strategy. We have multiple beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces to brainstorm with a team, to reflect in peace and privacy on a strategic task, to do physical activities in between, and not to forget, to enjoy the best of French cuisine!
Our spaces are equally accomodating to more educative events as yoga training, painting course or alike. We can host a maximum of 24 guests on 11 rooms. In the collective spaces, up to a 100 guests can be invited.

What do we offer:
Accommodation
20 beds in 8 rooms in a unique medieval atmosphere and equipped with all modern conveniences. Fantastic spacious rooms, men's room with large dining table and fireplace, lounge, solarium and large outdoor terrace.
Catering Service
delicious French breakfast included and the possibility of catering for lunches, dinners and snacks. Wherever feasible locally and organic, depending the season added from our own orchard and organic vegetable garden.
Facilities
we have various spacious and unique work and workshop spaces - the barn, the pool house, solarium - both inside and outside, with WiFi, mobile screen and beamer, but also with plenty of space for yoga mats and painters easels.
Relaxation
there are various terraces, hammocks and cozy meeting and relaxing places in the large park garden. Dive into the swimming pool, relax in our mini cinema, take your feet off the floor in the barn or do a wine tasting in our cave.
Activities
partake in one of our workshops in the field of sustainable living and building or get your hands dirty by helping us during our daily works of renovation, gardering or production of foods from our garden.
Surroundings
beautiful bastide villages and medieval castles in a green rolling landscape offer a fantastic backdrop for golfing, race- or mountain biking, canoeing and other activities. Also the caves of - amongst others - Lascaux are nearby. Click for more.
(Inter)national connectivity
directly by plane from most large British cities to Bergerac airport. 30 minutes' drive from Bergerac. From London to Bordeaux in less than 5 hours by TGV. In both cases the transfer to Chateau Barayre can be arranged.
Sustainable:
we are very committed to the environment. The chateau is managed as sustainably as possible. We experiment a lot and share experiences. In this way we hope to come to simple, sustainable routines. We like to learn and inspire.
