Please also RSVP if you’re unfortunately not able to come :(
Bridesmaids - Steph Berryman - Steph and Eloisa go back to Mrs Hammond and Mrs Eyles' Year 2 class where both were overweight nerds with no boyfriends. Fast forward to secondary school though, and the girls were still overweight with no boyfriends. Fast forward to university... you get the idea.
Bridesmaids - Alice Duston - Alice was similarly fortunate to meet Eloisa at The University of York. They met at the rowing team trials and went on to compete together in many races. A remarkable feat as Alice started rowing thinking 'sculling' was a type of walking holiday.
The wedding party
Bridesmaids - Georgia Vogler - Eloisa's younger and much uglier sister. As a child, Georgia kidnapped one of her friends, was the family snot-on-the-wall-wiper and stole a 'best dad' glass from a primary school fete which she tried to offload as a gift when the heat was on. None of these facts are relevant, they're just good conversation starters.
Bridesmaids - Emma Vidler - Emma is one of Eloisa's closest friends and is almost certainly in love with her. She'll be in floods of tears at the wedding but not because she's happy. She also has one of the best sense of humours in the party so make a beeline for her when the drinks start flowing.
Flower Girl - Thea Cackett - You'll spot Thea a mile off at the wedding, she's the child with a tablet surgically attached to her face
Page Boy - Nathan Cackett - Nathan is Eloisa's nephew. He was a nightmare at Georgia's wedding but he's a year further along and is now a delight. Strike up a conversation about Paw Patrol and you're golden.
Best Man - Trev Jones - Glen's younger and much better looking brother. Glen likes to think he's the 'cool' one but Trev plays the drums and Glen plays the clarinet - make your own conclusions from there.
Ring Bearer - Hudson Brehaut - Hudson is energetic to say the least. But don't judge him for it, it's almost entirely Glen's fault. With Glen winding him up it'll be a miracle if the rings get to the altar at all.
Bridesmaids - Evelien Rutgers - Eloisa met her lovely Dutch friend Evelien at The University of York. Apparently, on a standard afternoon flogging stroopwaffles instead of attending lectures, Evelien sold Eloisa a 6kg bag at trade price and they've been friends ever since.
Master of Ceremonies - Greg Cackett - Greg is Eloisa's brother, he wrote these intros and he's not sorry about it.

Chateau Barayre is a small family-run medieval castle in the Southern French countryside that hosts holidays, weddings, workshops and work events.
For those of you staying at a nearby accomodation we suggest to book a stay at Aux Martis, Dame du Lac or camping La Parenthese,. It’s nice to stay together and facilitates transport. Mention your wedding at “Chateau Barayre” for a discount.
More info about transport will be sent in a separate email.
If you are thinking to extend your trip: this region is a fantastic holiday destination. Medieval castles, romantic villages, famous pre-historic sites such as the caves of Lascaux, beautiful nature, vineyards, many food & brocante markets and great French cuisine.
